General Conditions Of Sale

These Terms and Conditions are valid only for good and services sold through the Nordic Roasting Co ApS (hereafter defined as “NRCo”) webshop (nordicroasting.com). They may be changed or updated at any time by the site which will give a notice to the customers through the relevant channels.

Prices Exposed

All prices of the products displayed and indicated on the website, which presents an offer to the public, means VAT included, and are expressed in Danish crowns (DKK). Transportation costs are excluded and they will be displayed at the checkout before completing the order. In case of increase or decrease in the price or incorrect publication on the website, NRCo will inform the customer on the status.

Product Documentation

You can find product documentation and descriptions for each product here on the website (nordicroasting.com).

All coffee is sold as whole-bean or ground. Some varieties can also be purchased as green, the roasted coffee is packed in a protective atmosphere.

Shipping

Shipment takes place with one of the following agents: GLS, PostNord, DAO. Delivery time is 1-3 days (domestic), 7-10 days (international). We ship most weekdays. The coffees are roasted no more than 14 days before shipment date but we always send it as fresh as possible.

Risk

The risk of the goods passes to you as a buyer from the item delivered to the carrier.

Return and withdrawal right

Food items (including coffee) are not returned. Other items are returned until 14 days after receipt. If the goods are intact, unopened and in the original packaging, the full amount will be refunded. If the item has been used, any impairment will be deducted upon our assessment. As a customer, you are responsible for the costs that will be associated with returning the item. Rates are not refundable.

The buyer must notify you of withdrawal within 14 days from the receipt of the goods, and the product must be returned to NRCo no later than 14 days after. (NRCo) reimburse the purchase amount to the customer within 14 days after we have received notice of the withdrawal. However, after NRCo has received the goods back or have received proof that the customer has returned the item, for example, a mail receipt.

Payments

It is possible to pay by Visa / Dankort, Eurocard, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, PayPal. Payment will be withdrawn from your account when dispatching the item, except for subscriptions that will be cancelled the first month. The prices quoted are incl. VAT and excl. freight.

After the order is confirmed, there will be delivered a summary to the email of the customer and / or consumer.

(NRCo) reserves the right to charge any charges, price and correction errors, technical errors, sold items and force majeure.

Terms and Conditions for Subscriptions

The monthly subscriptions are available in Europe only with the exception of Iceland, Norway, Switzerland. The parcel will be shipped via GLS and delivered to the subscriber own address or to the closed GLS PakkeShop. When the order is dispatched subscribers will receive communication by the mail service and from that moment they may track their parcels. It is subscriber own responsibility to provide valid contact details when signing up for a new subscription (besides e-mail, telephone contact is highly recommended) and check every communication from GLS regarding the delivery of the parcels. After one week from the delivery of the parcel, if the subscriber does not collect it, the parcel will be returned to the sender and the subscriber will not be refunded.

Payments will occur via automatic withdrawal from the subscriber’s credit card on the same day each month until the subscriber decides to cancel her/his subscription. [read the cancellation paragraph].

You will be placed on the subscription list if your payment has been processed.

Once your payment goes through, you will receive a confirmation via email. If you do not receive it please email us at info@nordicroasting.com

It is your responsibility as a customer that all emails, billing and shipping addresses are correct. It is also your responsibility to ensure all payments are made by the due date.

If the subscriber change credit card, it is her/his own responsibility to update the card details by logging in on https://nordicroasting.com/my-account/ in the section “Payment method”.

Cancellation

Subscriptions will continue until cancelled. Subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time by visiting their profile page

Entering the section called “subscriptions”. In the same section, subscribers can also put their subscription on hold for the period at their choice.

IMPORTANT By clicking on “subscribe” the customer accepts the above terms and conditions.

Personal Information

When you visit nordicroasting.com, you may find that you need to provide information such as name, address, e-mail address, or phone numbers when registering for one or more services, as well as ordering items. We will never sell or otherwise disclose this information without your express permission. Your information is safe with us. Unless otherwise specified, this information is not encrypted. However, all data is protected by a firewall. By payment by debit card, this information is sent directly to our payment service provider. (NRCo) does not have access to your card information. It may happen that we register your behaviour on our pages to ensure you the best possible experience. As a visitor, we may not retrieve identifiable information such as age, gender, mailing address. Terms Specific to Courses

After registration and payment, you will receive an order confirmation by email. You do not have to do anything else and just have to meet up to the course. Our courses are for private persons, If you would like to attend as a professional or as a Company, please contact us at info@nordicroasting.com. Purchase of the ticket for the course can not be refunded, cf. the Lov om visse forbrugeraftaler (Act on Certain Consumer Agreements) § 17. 2 cf. § 9 paragraph. 2 No. 2a. We reserve the right to cancel at less than 3 entries.
